GGG's coach fires back... Canelo has 15 days to sign

    :D Yep... according to Abel Sanchez GGG's trainer, Canelo has 15 days after his MAy 7th fight to either sign to meet GGG or vacate the title.

    Sanchez said this is in writing signed by both parties including Golden Boy Productions.

    Then both fighters camps have 30 days to come to an agreement or it goes to a "Purse Bid".

    A signed document has been confirmed by WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman !


    So.... all the Canelo "nut-huggers" posting about a 155 lb. "catch weight" yada yada yada...

    Forget about it. !!!

    Seriously, the way boxing fans are obsessed with this fight reminds me so much of Mayweather/Pacquiao. Every back and forth comment between teams is publicized so much. Every question by the media to the fighters is about eachother, not even their current opponent. It's the exact same ordeal, just with two different fighters. Glad to see boxing fans getting that excited over a potential matchup again.

    Yeah Canelo is getting stripped and word behind the scene is that Cotto/RNS want a rematch bad. So that's what gonna happen in the Fall.

    This fight isn't happening. There's a good chance there will be legal action towards WBC (to no avail anytime soon). Meanwhile GGG might go for Billy Joe in fall.

    Everyone should just wait, they both have fights lined up. If mando is enforced then the truth will be exposed.

    :patsch All this drama over Canelo weight ( 155 lb. catch weight BS ) has kept the trolls posting rumors and gossip ignoring reality.

    The way they have been ranting and raving...
    it seems like O$CAR's been sharing the nose candy.

    :D The trolls are convinced... don't confuse them with

    FACTS !

    I still doubt that the fight will happen... but I'm confident it won't happen at the 155 lb. Canelo weight.

    This fight isn't happening.
    Canelo will pull a Bowe and dump his belt, and his excuse will be that he's a 155 fighter and doesn't want to be dragged up to middleweight.
    GBP will make sure he keeps the Golden Ring Promotions belt though.

    some catch weight demands don't bother me, however, this demand bothers me.

    It would be different if ginger wasn't one of the champs of the MW division already.

    Sad times. Why does so many want to see Canelo fighting. The guy is nothing special and what makes it even worse, he is a ducker. Plain and simple.

    They've been ignoring Roach's and his Rep's phone calls for a rematch.
    Surely it would've generated more revenue than a laughable Khan fight.
