At the press conference he looked like the world's smallest 6'2 guy. He was clearly shorter than 6'0 Ward.

Ahead of this fight it seems clear the purported size difference is nonsense ...

I don't think Barrera looks like a big LHW at all. Maybe his size is deceptive but he looks more like a thick SMW to me than a real LHW.

I've heard quite a few people describe him as a big LHW but I don't see that at all.

Ward was coming in at a minimum of 182 for his last 2 fights and he looks to have packed on a fair bit of muscle recently

On a scale of 1 to 10, how dumb are you? With 10 being maximal stupidity.

    Let me answer the question for you . You're a 10 .

I've never really understood that Ward's size would be a problem a LHW, again I think he is a hair taller than the 'massive' Kovalev.

And the 'huge for the weight Barrera' is smaller than him it turns out!

Barrera is only slightly taller than Golovkin who's listed at 5'10½''. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CckEhUeW0AA6_kX.jpg
I think both Ward and him are around 6'', the difference is abysmal.

Ward was always a big SMW, it's natural at his age he fits in with legit LHW's like Barrera.

This is great for Ward then. He'll be able to manhandle the diminutive kovalev in the clinch. The enormous cruiserweight Ward will just bully and wrestle into submission these minuscule light heavies like Barrera and Kovalev.

    Yup, he's my height 181cm.

    Golovkin is officially 179cm

    Ward is 183cm.

Barrera claims 188cm:patsch And a lot of the previews have based their predictions about Wards height and reach disadvantage
