Anyone else freaking hates when fighters say this kinda BS? It seems like an easy way to escape critique (or avoid a fighter, e.g. if I beat this guy, they'll just look for someone next) you get with some hypothetical, non-existent scenario. Why not just silence the critics now and worry about what they'll say later, later?

If he beats him at 155, they will.

If he only fights his mandatory at Middleweight and gets busted up as bad as most expect, people have more respect for him as they do now.
He's just trying to create the environment in which he can duck Golovkin with the least amount of face loss.
Twisting everything almost troll like, so it would look that he has somewhat legit reasons to drop the belt.
Pretty sure he will have a big money fight against someone he is favorite to beat instead of defending his belt.

:patsch More bait to feed to the Trolls !!!

    Canelo's whining now !

After the anger that was created by his camp over the 155 lb. Canelo Weight nonsense,

no one expects Canelo to even meet GGG,

    much less, beat him !!!

    ;)

"If i beat Golovkin the critics will still complain, SO WHATS THE POINT?" Not guna fight him, guna drop the belt, the ride is over, will say the decision has been made to focus on 154.

If i beat Golovkin? your not even guna fight him.

Honestly if Canelo forces big G to 155 then that wont be impressive and he wont deserve credit.

GGG will be a dead man walking, he barely makes 160.

Canelo will get huge props fighting at 160 though.

Team GGG just need to start admitting he's a huge 160lbser instead of trolling that he's small when he isn't.

If GGG is so small he can make 155? simple fact is he can't

Simple fact is he shouldn't have to make 155, it's for the 4 160lb belts.
