Weigh-in just happened in CA.

Ward came in at 174⅖ lbs and Barrera 174⅘ lbs.

 

There wasn't even a stream for the weigh-in. :rofl

...even the Brook vs. Bizier weigh-in got aired on Sky & streamed. :deal

This is an utterly insignificant tuneup for Kovalev. Boring unanimous decision for Ward, shaking off some rust and taking a mild step up from Smith (and even milder from Rodriguez). Moving on..

The brunette is slouching a bit, hand on hip and leaned over slightly, whereas the blonde is perfectly ...erect.

I certainly didn't mean which to whack it to right now. :bart

For a moment I had blissfully forgotten that dude existed.

I thought you meant the Virgil that was a hanger-on and jobber in pro wrestling in the 90's (attached to first Ted DiBiase, and later the nWo) and who is now internet-famous via the "Lonely Virgil" meme, where fans post hilarious photos of him sadly holding court to empty space at various conventions.

...that Virgil is actually much cooler (and less creepy) than Virgil Hunter, and would probably be a more useful member of Ward's camp to be honest. The minuscule bump in Ward's confidence having a middle-aged hanger-on sycophant would provide >>>>>>>>> whatever his coach has added to contribute to his success beyond what his own natural talents would have made possible anyway.
