So, my brother just ran in from the kitchen to attack me with a 12" knife and would have plunged it directly into my heart if not for me swinging my laptop up to block in time.

So, needless to say, I'm no longer able to watch any boxing or continue the RBR.

I'm off to find a couch to crash on.

Probably just the adrenaline but the only thing I can think about is how I wish my reflexes had been just a tiny bit faster and the seated upkick I feinted at his wrist had actually connected to disarm him (or, you know, sever a major artery in my legs. I know, I'm an idiot..) so I could've sprung up and beaten him senseless. Now there's just this whole can of whoop-ass with the lid clattering anxious to be peeled off but no direction to point it.

..and of course my gym closes in half an hour and is 45 minutes away. :!:

 

Oh good. The stream works on my phone. Can only have one browser window open at once though, so no RBR from me.

...and still nowhere to stay. Guess I have no friends.

Camping out @ the nearest bar until close it'll be then!

 

What else am I going to do? Watching boxing is probably the biggest stress reliever/source of joy in my life (other than spending time with my son who is at his mom's and has been in bed for over an hour) so my choice are this or chain-smoke...and I'm 5 days into the patch.

 

Correction: drink heavily and watch the rest of the boxing, or drink heavily and chain-smoke.
