Keep in mind that Hopkins was not just slightly bigger than Trinidad. He was completely and ridiculously oversized compared to Tito.

Tito was a welterweight who looked soft in the body at 160. Meanwhile Hopkins was a natural super middle who draining down hard to make 160.

GGG fighting Ward could have a similar size difference.

Tito was more skilled than GGG. The way he threw his hooks was a thing of beauty. GGG isn't facing a bum in Trinidad, he's facing a legit power puncher with incredible accuracy and timing.

 

At 147. GGG eats a Welter's punches with ease.

 

Tito got plastered by Hopkins because he was too small.

 

Did you even watch the fight? Hopkins used incredible defense and in-fighting to beat Trinidad.

 

Watched the fight. I don't deny his skill in that fight. Against a skilled man with much size difference Tito stood no chance. Hopkins was too good and too big.

Golovkin would beat Tito to a bloody pulp, anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.

 

They either think GGG is a 3rd tier middleweight or they don't realize Middleweights are bigger, stronger and tougher than Welterweights.
