Why did Ward not choose Fonfara for today?

    Fonfara was being schooled by Campillo, and outboxed at times by Karpency, easy fight for Ward.

    Both ended up being stopped. No doubt Ward is the better boxer but he would have to keep in for every minute of every round through 12 against Fonfara who is strong and never stops pushing forward.

    This would be a very interesting match up.

    According to some gents, Ward is fighting a bum but that bum was Kovalev's mandatory. I wonder what the conversation would be like if Barrera fought Kovalev instead. If the man is good enough to fight Kovalev then he is also good enough to fight Ward, being that( according to a lot of people) Kovalev is a level above Ward.

    If he was his mandatory, how could you criticize Kovalev for fighting him? :huh
