Where the Ward detractors at? LOL! It's awfully quiet in this forum all of sudden!

He looked real good. Looking forward to the fight with Kovalev.

Well Barerra sucks so he should dominate. He was swinging at air. He's going to die fighting Kovalev with that kind of sloppiness.

Here is one of the Ward detractors. OK. Ward completely dominated the fight. He did what I believed he could not/would not do. I thought he would be defeated and by ko. Much respect for what he did. I was wrong. I am embarassed and it is ok if anyone says IDKSAB. I certainly would have to agree tonight.

Who the hell was Sulleyman Beretta anyway? Ward fought a bum, like he did in his last 5 years and said he's not ready for Kovalev. That is all you need to know

It's easy to call Barrera a bum after the fight but many of you claimed Barrera was a threat to Ward and that an upset was likely to happen. The fight wasn't even competitive! Ward makes every fighter look like a bum in that squared circle. It happened with Kessler, Froch, Abraham, Dawson and Rodriguez. Ward vs Kovalev will happen late 2016/early 2017, you know it and so does everybody else. Both fighters have already agreed to fight each other.

Ward's body looked great. He looked like a career LHW.

Ward knows what he needs and if he feels that he needs another fight before the Kovalev fight then I think that he should have it. I think that he tired around the ninth round and that's why he didn't get the knockout. His defense was impeccable. I enjoyed watching that more so than I did his offense because that's whats gonna give him the edge in a Kovalev fight. Kovalev's size and power is his edge, so if Ward's defense can offset Kov's power then I think that his boxing skills will give him the win. Don't get me wrong, Kovalev's boxing is a good but Ward's is much better. Another thing, Ward is a small LHW, it showed big time tonight.

Ward and Barrera looked the same size.:huh And Barrera has fought at cruiserweight before. They were also just about the same weight.

Fight night weight was about 2 pound difference. I just didn't see this midget people keep saying Ward was.
