Says that Charles Martin has had 30 KOs and that Canelo usually fights at 160.

This guy doesn't even watch boxing yet will be the main pundit for AJ's fight. How can you be a Sky pundit and not know that Canelo doesn't fight at 160?

You're the moron not Carl Froch

If you listened to his punditry last night he gave on the money insights - talking about when to throw uppercuts within distance, levels of fighters mixed in with his personal experiences against taylor and kessler - he knows his stuff.

Get your head out of his ****. Obviously he knows about actual boxing but as a guy who will be employed to comment on Joshu's chances of beating Martin, he should know that he hasn't had anywhere near 30 KOs. Idiotic statement.

And he's also gonna be paid to comment on Khan's fight with Canelo. He thinks Canelo is coming down in weight and will be slightly weaker than usual. These are asinine comments.

  5. The usual Froch apologists have entered the thread.

Is it too much to ask that someone who is paid a fortune to ****yse the sport actually has a clue about the fighters he is ****ysing?

I do. As a sky subscriber I would appreciate it if the pundits knew what they were talking about.

You are a **** poster btw. You still haven't explained why you pulled this thread out of your ****:

Froch obviously doesn't watch a boxing match unless he's paid to, so he'll fit in well with the likes of McCrory and Nelson who've been doing zero research for decades. Adam Smith really has a feeble line-up to do punditry work on the sport he heads for Sky.

Haha, I'd like to see the idiots who said Groves beats Ward after the first Froch fight.

He's a ****e anaylist but sky bosses aren't bothered about that- they're just looking to throw a recognisable face in front of he screen. Take Saturday's card which was dog muck the few casual fans watching (who sky are most interested In as there potential PPV customers) they are more likely to be tricked into thinking that the card was of actual significance as Frock was on rather then the low budget, pathetic fast car Hearn non PPV cards where stuck with.

It must really stick in the throat of all those great potential anaylists who would be far better then Carl and deserve the chance but it is what it is

When you have cards like Saturday's one on Sky Sports I believe you have to match it with awful punditry.

The whole night was a joke, the Etches fight was ridiculous, Dave Allen's fight was pathetic and the rest was very poor.

To be honest I try not to listen to the pre fight rambling of the Sky Team, I go and find something to do until I hear the announcer.

I am still convinced if they had a red button option to turn off commentary then Halling and Watt would be out of work.
