So Oscar was old at 34, but you don't say anything about Floyd being 37 when he fought Maidana. And Oscar Maidana and Castllo were all world champions when Floyd fought them. Barerra was not

Oscar was still a good fighter but clearly not the same guy as he was a few years prior. Yea Mayweather was on the downside of his career vs Maidana... I was just pointing out that he didn't dominate every fight he's been in like some people act like

Wards beating Rodriguez, Smith and Barrera and there is a thread comparing skill with a fighter like Mayweather who was looking amazing against fighters like Hernandez, Corrales etc
This forum is a laugh a minute

Oscar looked fine to me. Im not saying he was at his peak but he was still world class. It wasn't until he foolishly tried to make a weight that he hadn't fought at in 8 years that he ruined himself.

And I see your point, I just wanted to add though for the purposes of this thread that sure Floyd has had some competitive fights but it was at the championship level. And he also courageoulsy immediately rematched the two guys who gave him tough fights and beat them much easier.

How many divisions has Ward moved into, if you answer the question that will put an end to your quote.

Yeah Ward is better than Floyd, but that still doesn't make him any more enjoyable to watch.

There's a difference between starting your career at 130 and starting your career at 168. at least ward fought and is planning to fight the bogeymen of the weight classes instead of picking the weakest champion out of the bunch like Floyd does

Floyd in his prime was FAR better than Ward IMO. Ward is closer to Bhop than a Floyd or Pernell.

Mayweather was robbed of a gold medal and a val barker.. instead they gave it to the guy who lost to Antonio Tarver in the world championships..

Ward is fundamentally sound just as much, but Floyd was the better athlete.
