canelo should bull rush khan right off the bat and bully the much smaller man all over the ring.he should be able to walk through anything khan throws at him.

canelo's stamina has improved a lot and khan isn't the most disciplined boxer in the world I doubt he will able to box and move for the whole twelve rounds he's going to get tagged and then khan's machismo will get the best of him and he will brawl with alvarez and that will be the end of him.

To be honest, looking at how big Canelo is on fight nights, I think getting down to 155 may be getting really tough for him, so I wouldn't be suprised to see the return of the stamina problems.

that would be poetic justice if canelo failed to make caneloweight and struggled with khan but it doesn't matter khan is losing either way the scorecards will already be filled out before they step in the ring.

This starts to look like Rummy's Coroner more as it looks like Rummy's Corner. The thread is as good as dead, while you're still posting vids in other threads. :conf

Why don't you post a vid about Frampton vs Quigg, combined with the Rigo situation for instance?
I really like to hear your opinion on that one.

I'll try and tidy things up in the next week or so.

Sadly, I'm not going to have time to do anything new for another month or so.

Like who, Lennox Lewis? If I recall, Lewis got wrecked by Oliver McCall, Tyson's sparring partner from the 80's, in his 3rd defense of the WBC strap. So Lennox Lewis lost to an 80's professional sparring partner, in the 90's, but would've cleaned out the 80's just like Mike Tyson did?

This might be rambling but I'm half asleep....

I'm conflicted, I was very biased for Sullivan since I did my thread on him almost 2 years ago, while I realized he had obvious limitations in the hand speed department and his footwork was far from immaculate, and his power was more of the accumulation variety than one punch, as opposed to some of the other guys I've done thread on who are the total package and ready for prime time, Sullivan I thought might have a lot more skill than what he was showing us, since he's Cuban and all. I was hoping Ward wouldn't be as sharp with his reflexes and timing and maybe gas since he's new at the weight, or maybe Sullivan could force the pace and bully him against the ropes, overall just manhandle Ward, well none of those things came to pass and Barrera laid a huge ****ing rotten egg. I was wrong in my assessment due to my overly optimistic belief in Barrera, so that's where I'm conflicted. Did Ward do that great a job, after all Barrera was an unproven prospect who'd never faced anyone remotely close to the top 10 in his own division, much less the top of the top 10 P4P fighters in the world.

So yeah Ward looked excellent, he was brilliant I scored it a shutout, but how much of that was Ward being great or Barrera being average, did Ward take his jab away or did he just abandon it like you said.:think He got hit way too much, he was defensively slightly off,and he was starting to fall apart late in the fight, and his face was in a lot wrse shape than Barrera's who was getting hit flush a hell of a lot more than Ward.

So I have no idea what to take away from this match.:conf

But for what its worth Ward did look a hell of a lot better at LHW that I thought he would. That being said there's quite a few guys I see possibly giving him problems aside from Kovalev, Beterbiev's power and pressure could be a problem and Gvozdyk's speed, height, reach and accuracy would give Ward serious issues.

when you wanted the loser to win and you don't like the winner as a fighter you always have a hard time coming away with what to think about the fight....was the loser just so bad...or the winner just real good....

but when you like the winner the answer is usually pretty easy

I find rarely does a fighter abandon the most basic and first punch...the jab....rarely it just goes out the window without the other guy doing something to deter it
