Daniel Jacobs calls out Billy Joe Saunders

Good even fight. I'm leaning towards Jacobs though.

 

I like Saunders, but I think Danny hits too hard for him. He laid waste to a light-heavyweight (Quillin) in his last fight.

Notice, Abel Sanchez keeps talking about unifying against Canelo and Jacobs, but rarely mentions Jacobs. Not saying they wouldn't take the fight, but it wouldn't be their first choice.

I want to see GGG vs Jacobs. not sure why this is not brought up more.

 

he doesnt mention unifying against jacobs becuase jacobs doesnt have a real belt if jacobs wants a real belt he should ask the wba to enforce his mandatory status becuase thats all his belt symbolises

he wants to fight bjs becuase i guess he wants a real belt instead of the mickey mouse one he has

Excellent fight. Leaning more towards BJS on points in a good fight.

 

Excellent fight would be extremely entertaining I think BJS has the power to stop Jacobs and of course Jacobs has the tools to make BJS look bad as well

 

Called this one a long time ago, Jacobs was always the destined summer fight
for BJS. It's a good fight though. Right now I favor Saunders by UD, as long as he doesn't get too lazy in the late rounds and let Jacobs scores KDs.

 

As selfish as this may sound I'm looking forward to the opportunity of breaking down a fight without an onslaught of deluded biased fans depreciating threads with troll posts. It will undoubtly happen but not at the nauseating levels we are used to. This is an even enough fight to have good productive thought provoking conversations.

 

Can't pick a winner at the moment but I think this is a really good. I hope it happens this summer.

 

BJS wins a close points win or late KO if Jacobs goes for broke. But Saunders needs to up the fitness and focus cuz Jacobs will be dangerous all fight. Good match up this one.

 

55/45 in favour of BJS, Jacobs is easily capable of winning and he would tune up Lee imo.

BJS is just a bit slick imo, only just though. I don't think either fighter has the greatest gas tank which will be good for BJS because he has poor stamina for a high level fighter.

If BJS could punch and had great cardio he'd clean up GGG imo lol, pity everyone has their weaknesses. BJS is the best pure boxer @ 160 for me.

 

Right Billy has more patience and from a tradintinal sense it feels as if his timing is sharper and his ability to attract and fall into opportunity slightly better than Jacobs. Daniel on the other hand has some natural gifts that allow him to gain the initiative and when the fight hits a lull in action Jacobs has a greater ability to gain points based on his ability to put together fast and surprisingly strong combinations. A truly intriguing match up for sure.
