Roach is saying Arum and him have been discussing putting Pacquiao up against Canelo after Bradley, beating him then face Mayweather in a rematch.

Canelo... And Pacquiao? I'm guessing it'd be at a catch weight at 152 ish. Say Pacquiao gets past Bradley and looks good, how do you rate that fight? Outcome?

PAC... too much foot speed. Plus Canelo can't punch.

    Pac UD.

Doubtful Canelo can make 152 these days.

Personally, I don't really want to see Pacquiao fighting anymore, against anyone.

If he does continue though, Canelo would be one of the better options imo.

That's what I'm curious about- the weight. Like some of Pac's past opponents, I wonder if Canelo would kill himself to 152 with the thought in mind that Pacquiao is just too small of a guy even if Canelo is weak... A similar mindset that many of Pac's past opponents made and ultimately regretted.

Pacquiao definitely has foot speed much faster than Canelo, but it's much slower than that of his Oscar and even Margarito days. He's much more flat-footed now. In the Mayweather fight, he hardly used any of his footwork that he is known for.

Arum has said he is working on a "huge" fight for PPV in September-so a Pac v Canelo makes a lot of sense.
GGG can forget a fight with Canelo for the forseeable future.

If Pac/Canelo was made for September, I wouldn't be that upset about GGG missing out. That's an intriguing matchup. Brings back memories of Pac's younger days when he was fighting these huge guys. Canelo is super huge though... Margarito was too big for Pacquiao. Those shots hurt Pac. Canelo is a lot more skilled than Margarito, but does he punch as hard?

Then Oscar said Canelo is having a huge blockbuster in Sept. Many thought he meant GGG....but maybe he actually meant Pacquiao🤔

He wouldn't be 155. He'd most likely weigh in at normal. Remember, he came in 146 against Margarito. LOL

Then, on fight night you wouldn't see him rehydrate above 150-152. He came in at his highest ever against Mayweather and looked bloated and heavy (152).

I would actually love to see this fight. I think Pac would beat his ass.

They should have made this instead of Pacquiao-Bradley III, after Pacquiao insisted fighting on post Mayweather.

Now it simply sounds like typical promoter noise from Arum, given the fight they are offering in April looks likely to tank big time. Anything to stir up whatever interest from fans. If Arum really wanted to make this matchup, he would have made it instead of a third Bradley fight.

Sorry, but not falling for this trick.

The difference is Arum is talking about it and Oscar said he has a big blockbuster planned for Sept... and since we all don't think it's GGG, who could it be?

Not that long ago we were hearing that Pacquiao was planning on retiring after this fight with Bradley. Now there’s talk of Pacquiao possibly going on to fight Canelo, and possibly Mayweather? Seriously??

At this point we don’t even know what Pacquiao has left and if his shoulder has healed. The idea of Pacquiao vs Canelo doesn’t seem like it could really happen. Pacquiao is a smaller guy than Mayweather or Khan and if he were to fight Canelo at 154 or at 155 Canelo would have a significant tale of the tape advantage. At least Khan for example matches up to Canelo quite well. Pacquiao vs Canelo in the ring would seem like Ward vs Fury at HW.
