GGG is not a god and team GGG are cowards scared to test GGG. Jr will give him all he can handle, but I still don't think Jr would win. GGG is like a once in a generation fighter imo, has everything except height and reach. Jr would make him work harder than he ever has for sure and I'd be cheering him on doing it. I think Jr would be a bit more defensively responsible but he does like to entertain. So the left hand will be up against GGG but we will still see the combo's and the uppercuts.
Ok ! Taking emotion out of the equation . Do you really think GGG will march forward without throwing punches on the way in ? GGG throws 80 to 100 punches a round. My guess is he would triple jab his way in and hit Eubank with a right hand behind the ear as Eubank ducks low to his right (as he always does). GGG has skills and power
I truly admire the UK fans. I lived there for two years, and I can say they are very patriotic and they really support their own, sometimes to the absurd levels like Eubank Jr destroys GGG or Kell Brook has a really good chance of beating GGG at 157.
Chris Eubank has great physical athleticism but his technique is sloppy. I'd favor him to beat Saunders in a rematch, because I think he's gotten a little better since their first fight; but there is no way in hell that he beats GGG. Golovkin's physical abilities are better than Eubanks and his formal technique is way way better than Eubanks. Eubanks has 0 ring IQ. That's how Saunders beat him last time. Saunders just outsmarted him with his superior experience level even though Saunders isn't as fast, or as strong as Eubanks. If you watch Eubanks' last fight against Blackwell, sure he dominated the fight but he did so in kind of a stupid way. He never went to the body, and he'd throw flurries until he got tired and then he'd rest for the rest of a round. The boy needs to learn to pace himself, as well as to rely less on his great reflexes. Those are the first to go. By the time he's in his early 30s he's going to be seeing those punches coming but unable to get out of the way in time. He'll be stuck like Roy Jones. But if he invests in technique he can age like BHop. Eubanks Jr might have the athleticism of his father, but his father was a better boxer. His father knew how to move just enough to make a guy miss. He saved his energy. Eubanks Jr moves all over the place and wastes energy, which is why he's tired in the middle of the round. No, if Eubanks meets GGG now he'll be throwing his big looping haymakers while GGG hit's him with straight shots on the inside and gets there first. His porous defense will leave openings for GGG to hit him everywhere and everything he throws GGG would just shift slightly away to block, parry, or deflect. I fear if they fought now, it would go worse for Eubank Jr than it did for Barrera the other night when he fought Ward.
This Off the back of a comprehensive win against a game, but British level opponent. Jr is suddenly ready for the MAN. No one is saying BJS is ready for GGG, and BJS man handled and owned Jr when they fought. If Jr and BJS had a rematch BJS would win again.
He loses to Saunders again, this time by an even wider margin, GGG demolishes him in 2 rounds, I've seen him rocked now by Saunders, Blackwell and O'Sullivan, and none of them pack even close to the punch GGG has. He's crude rudimentary and lacks any sort of finesse, he wouldn't even be able to get past GGG's jab.
Talking dribble CST80, none of those boys rocked Jr and the only one that came close was Spike. I hope Jr gets a crack at BJS next because he will beat him easily. The only reason it was close the first time is because he underrated him. I still had Jr winning by a round. Fight was a 50/50 and JR spotted BJS 3 rounds
What are talking about, he was stunned by all three, maybe not to the point that he was staggering around the ring, but he was definitely effected. Get a grip Saunders just beat Andy Lee, Eubank beat Billy Joe's leftovers.
Spike was the only one who noticeably affected him. It wasn't to the point of being rocked but his game face changed. Spike can punch so it's not too bad a problem. BJS and Blackwell did not even come close at all. That's like saying Geale rocked GGG just a moment before he got koed lol.
Blackwell almost knocked him down, when he caught him flush, and his head was spun around and he was completely off balance...did you watch the fight closely mate? It might be difficult to find because it was not after Jr was admiring his own work, whilst moving backwards in a straight line and with his hands down...It was just as he was swinging in one of his wide left hands that most people can see from a mile off
Jnr reminds me more of Benn than Snr, so he's entertaining and worthy of his shot. I could see GGG taking him on as it would be a big paycheck event.
GGG would end Eubank jnrs career, the Brighton Nostril isn't in the same league, the bum got beat off BJS, God knows what GGG would do to the clown.
Landing a shot when someone is already off balance that doesn't knock them down doesn't sound like rocking someone to me
