Joshua will win by stoppage anywhere from rounds 1-3 against the American scrub. That's a done deal. It's all practically happened already. So what happens when Joshua can no longer fight road sweepers (not that I'm suggesting he's avoiding anyone. He's only had 15 fights)? Tyson Fury has forgotten more about boxing than Joshua will ever know. Fury has been boxing since he could stand up. Joshua, on the other hand, started at the age of 18 - and it shows. Joshua has yet to learn to even throw a right hand properly and is so wide open after he throws power shots you could drive a bus to his rather large and brittle chin. Fury would absolutely take Joshua the distance and there is no way that Joshua wins more rounds than Fury. Fury could win this fight with one hand.
Big gulf in level between them at the moment. Fury has operated at a far higher level and is far more experienced. Any fight between them any time soon would likely see that exposed. But as you said Joshua has only had 15 fights, Fury at a similar stage outpointed an out of shape Chisora in and unimpressive performance and you saw in the rematch against a more experienced and fitter Chisora how far Fury had come since the first fight. Give Joshua time to mature and he may be more than a match for Fury, but then again maybe not.
Are we talking about the guy that Cunningham had on the canvas? Fury isn't good enough to "destroy" anybody that is a credible opponent. He may win a fight but that's about it. I didn't think that much of him before the Klitschko fight and after watching that fight as best I could, I am convinced that I was right.
lol, so easily influenced by the media. He was wobbled, yes. He was hurt, for sure. But nowhere near being knocked out. In fact, the two body shots he took after the left hand, troubled him more. Learn to think for yourself...
Whyte couldn't land on him after that big left. Joshua was ready to go. Joshua is made from the same mould as Frank Bruno. He will wobble about when he gets hit on the chin. Just like Frank, all it takes is a good finisher to put him away. Neither Bruno nor Joshua will be easy to beat. But they are very beatable for the top fighters. David Haye would certainly have the ability to finish Joshua off. Fury, more likely, would outbox Joshua over 12.
can fury destroy Joshua? that remains to be seen, however, I bet you fury can destroy a 10 course meal in no time!
Fury doesn't hit hard enough to 'destroy him'. Befuddle him, outbox him in patches...I can live with that. I personally think Joshua beats him right now.
He probably does. Not a bold prediction by any stretch as Fury has experience at a higher level as well as the ability to outbox Joshua. Interesting to see how both careers develop and if their paths cross later on.
