Had Toney been stopped 7 times prior to his excursion into the heavyweights?

What would you say the chances are for C*ckell, of the Marciano fight, against Toney of the Holyfield fight? There are no wrong answers.

    It works like this.

If you fight a person who has managed to establish a top 10 ranking, they are allowed to fight back, even if you are an all-time great.

That is why a 9th round destruction of the #2 contender, can be sold as a good result at the time!

Did Joe Louis land his Sunday punch every minute of every round?

Some 8th round action, with a tired ****ell eating a ton of hard Marciano head and body shots. HOW DOES HE STAY ON HIS FEET?? Unreal. No way Tua or Tyson are stopping this version of ****ell. :bart

Not even if they both hit him at the same time.

BTW, hard to see either of them surviving that hellish Marciano onslaught either. :ko

You might want to look back to the fight of the previous weekend!

Perhaps you should be glad that you are dealing with a 9th round stoppage!

    This is dumb.

What is the point of this thread? For all of us to post clips with troll-esque commentary attacking great fighters in the cheapest of ways?

It's a tit for tat race to the bottom.

Nice to see Marciano and C*ckell getting the respect they deserve.

Taking that amount of punishment for 9 is no joke.
