You are lying to yourself GGG is 160 contender of WBC belt. Why he has to move to 155 to fight for 160 WBC belt? GGG was never contender for 168 belt. He would have fought/will fight at 168 for good money and recognition in media. Ward was boxing rarely and could not give that. What Ward wanted is to fight Gennady - if he wants it Gennady said that 164 is balanced weight like he agreed to fight Floyd at 154. When he finishes business at 160 he might move up.
My thoughts too man. How is he coming off jerky at all? OP is being a moron and looking for reasons to hate
Why is this a troll thread? GGG is always smiling, always polite. That's his image. Then, in his native country he comes off as a complete jerk. Read the interview excerpt. Even his own countrymen were shocked at his attitude. GGG says that Loeffler works for him, that Lieffler has a license under K2 and that's it. Perhaps GGG has pick of opponent and we are all fools?
Because you wont let me blow a load in your commie mouth and sew it shut. For that reason alone you should be banned until my conditions are met. :hi:
It's a troll thread because the title makes you think GGG has done something bad, but then you read the transcript and there is nothing bad there. GGG said that the info is BS, and he obviously believed that. Only later did he watch Canelo's video interview in which he says that he'll never fight GGG at 160. GGG says one curse word, but we're talking about boxing, not religion. Give me a break.
Liston was very uneducated. He was taken advantage of by many managers. Nothing new really. Heavy handed guy. But I thought both Foreman and Shavers hit harder than Liston. Foreman had said in an interview that he was glad he didn't fight Earnie Shavers! Real recognize real?:hey I also feel that Liston took a dive against Ali. Not sure if it was planned in advance or if Liston was just frustrated and wanted out/no mas!
Surprise! Most Blacks during that time period could not afford to finish school and had to work at an early age. Back when boxing was ran by the "Cigar Boys" it was basically Jim Crow/Slavery boxing. Joe Lois could not smile or celebrate when he beat a white fighter. Too bad many still have not learned from the mistakes of others and continue to work with Bob Arum and others not named Al Haymon. He is the only manager that cares about his fighters enough to teach them financial education , whether they listen or not is up to them.:deal
