    Can someone explain to me why they would fight Lemiuex? Makes no sense, the man is not a draw, even less than GGG.

    Yes he fought Mayweather & was exposed as a stumble bum
    Erislandy Lara gave him all he needed & arguably beat him
    Austin Trout also gave him hell & arguably beat him
    He got his bogus WBC & lineal by barely beating Pretty in Pink Cotto, another supposed WW, who in turn stole it from Sergio Martinez who could barely walk let alone fight.
    Now instead of being a man & meeting his nemesis Gennady Golovkin Canelo drags Amir Khan up two weights & will probably out weigh Khan by 20 pounds on fight night. You may call him cash cow but his countrymen label him El Pollo The Chicken The Coward & I agree with them

    This thread is pathetic. Are there any actual boxing fans in amongst the wannabe accountants, tv ratings executives and boy band groupies?

    If Alvarez wants to give up the belt, stop pretending to be a middleweight champion and go back to 154, he at least salvages a bit of dignity. If (assuming a worst case scenario where the WBC go back on their word and don't strip him) he ducks Golovkin and continues masquerading as a middleweight champion whilst refusing to defend against anyone at the actual weight limit, he becomes the biggest joke in boxing. If he does so in order to drain the shell of GGG's leftovers down to a non existent weight class he becomes the biggest joke since Butterbean. Even his own people, as has been well documented, are calling him el pollo, a disgrace to the country that brought proud warriors like Sanchez, Olivares, Chavez, Barrera, Morales.

    The groupies with agendas to push can bang on about a sides and 97k until they're blue in the face. To the true boxing fans there is NO other way of looking at the matter.
