Do you have any evidence that Foster knocked out an OLD Liston? Your the one who bought up sparring sessions. It doesn't matter whether they were knocked out or not. Anyways Liston would've been ten years past his peak.

Johnny Tocco "He was having a rough time with Greg Page and could do nothing with Berbick and even Oliver McCall gave him a bad time one day. Page hadn't looked that good against anyone for years."

You were the first to mention sparring sessions on this thread. Well, here's a sparring session for you:

From Sports Illustrated, 5th January 1970:

"So we went up there," DiFuria says, "and they worked the first round and it was pretty even. The second round, they started to work the same pace, and then all of a sudden Mac hit him with a left hook and Sonny sagged into the ropes. He sat on his butt almost. Mac just stood there looking at Sonny, and Gil Sanchez [Mac's trainer] told him, 'Keep working.' Mac walked up and hit Liston with a right hand and down he went on his knees. He got up, got spun around, backed up and started to pitch forward on his face. They grabbed him under the arms and took him to his corner. He was out."

So let me get this straight, I'm not allowed to mention Greg Page dropping Tyson but you're allowed to mention Foster
KOing Liston? Btw, ONE person said this. Things always get blown out of promotion. Their are so many different versions of the story. And I only mentioned sparring because Tyson and McCall sparred during Tyson's prime and I speak from first hand experience, when I say they were wars. Neither man, had a clear upper hand. I don't think I've ever seen Tyson even backing McCall up.

    Tyson wrecked McCall in sparring.

Nobody beats a prime Tyson. Louis, Ali, Liston, Foreman, Holmes, Bowe and Lewis have the best chances.

Young Tyson v. Holyfield would have been an incredible fight.

Did Tyson make McCall quit with a body shot when they fought?

They never fought. From the sparring sessions, I have personally witnessed it was hell.
