Chris Eubank Jnr Biting at the bit to correct BJS

Personally I'd rather see BJS fight Jacobs or Golovkin after Bursak.

As for Eubank since his loss too BJS he's gone backwards in opponents and is now fighting at British level. I'd like to see him in with a decent quality 160lb fighter and then push for a title shot against Jacobs.

I see it as Eubank going back to the drawing board and getting the foundations right before jumping too soon into top level opponents and going iin making the same mistakes he made against BJS.

They've been decent durable opponents Eubank has chosen that are not too easy and not too good to be pushing him too hard and derail his confidence.

 

Saunders was never out on his feet at all.

 

I quite enjoying their feud, keep it up.

 

Oh I fully agree, but he does need to fight a top 15 fighter before he goes for a title shot, just to see were he's at imo.

 

Fact is Eubank been offered the rematch twice and rejected it twice, not on Saunders level and he knows it.

 

I came here to basically say this. He rejected it for silly reasons aswell so we know he's bull****ting, now he can get in line.

 

What silly reasons?
Is it true he was offered a million quid for the rematch?
Does a rematch even generate that level of payday?

 

Well he rejected it because he "didn't want to drop his WBA 'have a belt for the sake of it and be one of four champions in the same division' Belt and fight Saunders for a definite shot at the WBO title. And then he rejects the Jacobs fight for the WBA 'Secondary' Belt which is surely why he rejected the first offer, loses his WBA 'bit of scap' Belt, meanwhile Saunders picks up the WBO strap, offers Eubank nearly £1million and gets knocked back because Eubank "wants to win the British title" which it seems unlikely he'll even defend. you have to seriously doubt he wants the fight.

He hasn't improved at all, he still fights in spurts, still doesn't have the power to stop top level fighters, still very accurate and quick but also still far too confident in his own ability, I was hoping the Saunders defeat would do wonders for him by humbling him a bit, it seemed to directly after in the post-fight interview - he came across defeated - as he was, but he's just gone back to battering fighters a level below him and started thinking he's the dogs *******s again.

1) Golovkin batters him.
2) Saunders beats him, same fight, same result.
3) Jacobs beats him handily.
4) Lee-Eubank would be a great fight
5) Lemeuix-Eubank would be brilliant
6) 4-5 is his level, he is not below world level that's not what I'm saying
7) But he's NOT the #1 Middleweight in the world like he thinks he is.

 

I don't necessarily disagree with you on your assessment of CEJ as a fighter, but disagree with critisism of his attitude. Thinking that you are the best is probably ingrained within the vast majority of world champions in their weight category, this is what is required to get that far. What do you expect him to say in interviews, 'I am fringe world level at best and I will never defeat the top fighters'. This kind of attitue mixed with some bravado is an integral part of the boxing game.

 

The Eubanks don't want any part of BJS unless they end up with nowhere else to turn.

 

Id like to see the winner face GGG then. Id like to see how early eubank would throw in the towel to save his son since he says he is so concerned with safety. Id say we could see a white towel in the ring after a minute

 

Would be a fun fight that's for sure.

 

Id love it , i think eubank could take a good but of punishment too. Id love to see the eubanks talking nonsense before the fight then Jr getting his **** punched in on fight night and snr crying
