if it were that easy they would of already paid Nate to take a dive in the first fight, can you imagine how hyped up Conor would be if he had wiped Nate out?

Conor did what nobody else would have done in his place after the Aldo win, going up two divisions and against a non-bum.

In that sense, he's crazy. He could have easily stayed in his division for another year or more. After the Aldo fight, he earned it.

So, props for him for having tried to push the limits, braver than most.

Maybe after a couple defenses of the tile he can try again with Diaz. He showed he had the tools to win, if better used

  6. No he could not, all the killing himself to make weight, was taking a toll on his health.

It ain't natural for someone who walks around at 170lb fighter to keep draining down to 140lbs

Look at his recordlist. Maybe the best resume in the UFC history. Ryan Bader, MaurĂcio Rua, Rampage Jackson, Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans, Vitor Belfort, Chael Sonnen, Alexander Gustafsson, Glover Teixeira and Daniel Cormier.

His only loss is a disgraceful disqualification. Of course he deserves the hype. Aldo lost against Conor, Anderson Silva lost against Weidman. Weidman lost against Rockhold. Ronda lost against Holm, that lost to Miesha Tate. Neither Demetrious Johnson and Dominik Cruz have the same resume as Jon.

So right now Jon is in his own league. If he beats Ovince and then lose against DC, then DC deserves the hype. With wins over Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson if he can add Jon to that list, he deserves the hype that Jon deserves right now. He have beaten everyone in his career so far and all the best in the division, so if he don't deserves the hype then nobody in the history deserves it.
