I have no interest in seeing floyd ever fight again. He is an alltime great but really boring and just played out. A borderline top 10 WW calling him out is nothing of note. Just seems played out to me and has for a few years. Him and PAC finally fighting as old men was just a cherry on top of a played out run imo. Its like if leonard and duran never fought the first two fights but only fought the third. Anti climactic to say the least. Just seems like a new era. Anybody agree?

You know if he fights 24 more times, you don't have to watch? I didn't think you know that.. With that being said, I hope stays retired, but won't mind if he fights one more time...

I'd like him to stay retired. He's not shot, but he's older.. and I don't need to see him get Roy Jones'd against inferior competition like Roy did.

He shouldn't fight again because he's done, he's 40. It's over. No need to put his body through all that any longer. I would hope his inner circle has the good sense to tell him to let it go, enjoy his money, and live his life.

Just enjoy the time with family.

He shouldn't come out of retirement just to give pathetic clowns like Broner a payday

He's almost 40 so he's in a lose-lose situation with anyone he fights.

He's better off staying retired and reaping the rewards of an illustrious, ATG career.

Somebody said a few years ago that he's essentially been doing victory laps. His career devolved after Hatton from an integrity standpoint. The lustre he went onto build around his record was a product of an awful heavyweight division and an increasingly moronic generation who are sucked into simple concepts like undefeated like the fly is to light. There's a great fighter there but there's also an inordinate amount of gloss on his accomplishments.

This ageing Mayweather can only offer minimalistic exhibitions that will melt into previous efforts. Money performs very differently to Pretty Boy. It comes from a place of great insincerity when he claims to put on a "helluva show".

There is not a chance he needs more green. It's for the best if he stays retired so we can begin to erase this obsession over PPV numbers and phrases like the 'A-side' which have only served to increase a fighter's sense of self-entitlement, thus undoing the fights that need to happen and when they need to happen.
