    Well there is some truth to it. Team Golovkin has stated on several occasions that they will fight anyone from 154 to 168. Yet they wanted Ward at 164 and Canelo at 160

    Well Canelo can just vacate the belt since Gennady and his team have mentioned incessantly for years now all they care about is unifying the division. If that's the case, he should have no issue with being upgraded to full WBC champion and never stepping in the ring with Alvarez.

    It looks like Alvarez and his team are just waiting for Gennady to show his age before they'll entertain that fight at 160.

    I think it's actually a great idea for Canelo to relinquish the title just to end this ridiculous stretch of catchweight fights occurring with the lineal MW champions for the last few years. Cotto started this nonsense at 160, and Canelo is just following suit. Unfortunately, they're 2 of the bigger draws in boxing so they've been able to get away with it.

    I can see Sulaiman go against his word and the "written agreement," between the 2 fighters and allow Canelo to keep his status as full WBC champ.

    Actually the real duck will be when Canyelo dumps his belt instead of fighting at 160. That's a real duck right there, not meeting scared TITLE holders at a catch weight.

    For Canelo he eill easily have a guarenteed 4-5 Mil and PPv sales he will easily make 10 Mil

    Why? It's 100 % true, the great Hopkins fought DLH for a huge payday in a catch weight Canelo himself fought Mayweather at a catch weight for big money, why can't GG man up and do the same? ???
