To be fair it was a very good result for Smith, I'll forgive Halling for that one.

  4.

The hype for these c level fighters is amazing and the public fall for it everytime

When this guy steps up hes getting stomped. This mohammed guy was standing square and was so much smaller and older he didn't stand a chance

    I was quoting Halling haha

Smith is obviously good but tonight was no test for him, as with all match room fighters we have to wait a while to see where their real level is

Edited about 100 times because of my **** typing haha

I wouldn't go overboard. Everyone was saying the same thing when Quigg beat Martinez in two rounds. Personally early round blastouts don't often tell you much.

Good result, but let's see how he does against someone who is truly world class.

  7. Yeah I know you was quoting, I heard the commentatotrs foam at the mouth everytime callum threw a punch and went into a frenzy when he blasted out an old man.

Eddie and DeGale got a strained relationship?

I expect DeGale will leave Hearn. He was moaning the other weak that Hearn wasn't getting him the big fights in the UK. Now Hearn seems to be dismissing DeGale saying Smith will dominate them all and win that WBC even if DeGale wins it in a unification.

Decent result but as others have said not a real test. Sky do go crazy over him yet he has not fought a top class fighter yet.

How does DeGale get on TV though? Unless the PBC launches over here his only option is Frank.

James is in a bit of a quandary currently.

My god this sky ass licking is unbearable. Making him out to be the next tyson. Lets see how callum goes against a highly skilled fighter who won't dive in and be open to counters all night. People forgetting the rebrasse fight a couple of fights ago.

That was impressive, I know you all are saying in that people are overdoing it based upon that opponent, however I do think that Smith is pretty special and would be shocked if he loses to any current contender or champion in the super middleweight division. Once he steps up in weight he will find difficult fights but I feel he will walk through all but a few at super middleweight.

Impressive performance but i'm not gonna get carried away with it. I thought Smith showed vulnarabilities against Rebrasse, Fielding and tonight up until the stoppage.

Was it just me or was John Mcdonald particularly awful tonight?
