Holyfield in 97 was already showing the signs of wear and tear on his body from fighting these huge heavyweights and getting into wars with huge heavyweights for years... The only people who want to believe that nonsense (Holyfield was Peaking)are the people who are lewis fans and don't want to take any credit away from lewis... But fact of the matter is every credible boxing reporter, trainer or any fan knowledgeable of the sport of boxing know Holyfield at that time was not a prime fighter.

Feel free to quote a single post where anyone has said Holyfield was prime in 1999.

I did..... Nobody knew who **** that quitter was in the states, nobody... He was a quit job and that was very apparent..

And you can't put 2 and 2 together I see.. And like I told your dumb ass anyone from Europe would know Vitali, but it was your mistake to think I was from Europe which was why you responded to my post the way you did..

And now I know your agenda which is plain to see, **** the states?? OK.....:conf

Yanks think the States is the centre of the universe. And even if that ever were the case in boxing, it certainly is not now.

It's embarrassing for all concerned that Briggs is over here in the UK pimping out what's left of himself to the real powerbase of global boxing.

    Nonsense.

What's your basis for saying that a boxing match would have favored Bowe? When Holyfield adaptaded to boxing instead of slugging in the rematch HE won the fight, not Bowe.

And again, not saying Lewis couldn't throw an overhand right. He just couldn't throw it on the inside like Bowe could. Bowe had the ability to land extremely short shots despite his huge limbs, in a way no other big heavyweight could, before or after him.

Yep... Lewis needed room to throw his punches.. He was not an inside fighter the way Bowe was.

Quote a single post where anyone said Holyfield was at his peak, prime best or any other word with a similar meaning in 1999.

    Go ahead.

Disagree.. Holyfield from 91 would have beaten both Tyson and Lewis to a pulp...
