Assuming he decides to stick around of course.... How does he rebuild himself? A lot of guys probably see him as easy pickings and would like to make a name off of him. Stepping in with the Charrs, and the Hammers of the division would probably get him ranked high again provided he wins. The Nordic nightmare is in a nightmarish position at the moment and it's going to be hard to pick the pieces up and carry on.
Do the right thing. Give an officially sanctioned professional rematch to Musafarov. :nod ...and if you lose, suck it up, Robbe. Not like it would derail your career at this point. Years of injuries and inactivity now capped off with being kayoed by freaking Duhaupas of all people have already done that.
In hindsight it's probably a good thing Teper pulled out of their scheduled December clash... He may not be anything great but he's certainly a bigger puncher than Duhaupas.
He should retire, injuries ruined him. However that doesn't explain the amount of fat he was carrying in the last fight, he looked totally gassed in the 6th round because of that. Nevertheless, his only special quality (his punching power) is gone, so I don't see a reason why he should keep boxing.
Bigger punches, but he's ass. Teper is Gerber mark II, as I have long said. Duhaupas could probably beat him in a rematch. In fact, as it was, lots of people felt that more points should have been deducted from Teper as he fought very dirty and got some overly generous scorecards in his favor. ...and Duhaupas was in poorer nick than he was for Wilder or Helenius, that night.
Fair enough.... That's an extremely high risk/low reward type of match and one you'd have to lean towards Musafarov at the moment. Helenius will probably steer away from that kind of fight and feast on journeyman while looking to set up fights with the likes of Charr, Hammer and Pianeta.
Yeah but he's the one that cherry-picked Timur for an exhibition meant to shake off rust and "show off", and was given nearly more than he could handle. Boxing has been very kind to Helenius, given him lots of second chances over the years. By rights he shouldn't have been headlining a card versus a recent world title challenger this past weekend - had done absolutely nothing of late to deserve that. Giving something back now that he's in a humbler position and not clawing his way toward a title shot any more would be the ethical move. Boxing hasn't been very kind to Musafarov, who consistently fights his guts out, has been matched tough, and been robbed against big names arguably more than once (esp. including the exhibition).
