Scottish Title fights

Not a chance John McCallum would beat Brophy he's not strong enough or quick enough.

 

I agree with who ever said above about paying to watch folk fight Latvian Journeymen- I would like to see how some of the boys I have trained with over the years get on in their pro careers but I am not paying money to watch mismatches, regardless of how much I like them.

 

i offered McCallum's manager a 10 round fight with Mohammad and the politely said no
Lewis v Charlie is a fight that can be made very easily if they want it? put it on one of Ricky's or Willie's under cards for a title over 12 rounds👍
Jason Easton is ready for the Scottish now, however I think Eddie and Shaun are having a rematch, so I think it makes sense to box Craig Kelly for his new title, either one I'd be very confident of a victory for Jason who has improved bundles since turning pro, he had great sparring both at home and in England

 

are you insinuating that charlie flynn and his team are scared of lewis ritson :huh 1 is commonwealth gold medalist, gb gold medalist and boxed all over the world for his country and the other reached the finals of a weak aba atsch:good

i expect that the fight with flynn and ritson will happen when it is right for flynns team because lets be honest billy they are the ones holding the aces at the minute, flynn is popular, getting fights on stv and sky and lewis is fighting journeymen at bellahouston. :good

jason easton on the other hand i expect to beat all of the light welters in scotland, eddie doyle won't last 3 rounds, shaun mcshane can't let his hands go and would be lucky to see 4-5 rounds, craig kelly is strong but would be easily beaten on points, james thomson from stirling would be a good fight but id expect jason to win and i really fancy that he would beat lewis benson over the 10 round distance. :good

i would like to see if jason could do lightweight with a day before weigh in because he would be very very dangerous if he could :hey:good

on john mcallum, which manager did you speak with? i personally don't rate mcallum but I've watched mohammad twice and he is garbage, I've heard he was supposedly a decent amateur but he was slow footed, fell in too close and smothered his work up close and didn't seem to be the fittest boxer i have seen (maybe doesn't train as hard as others). john has a good jab and i think he could maybe keep mohammad on the end of it to get a win on points. :good

 

I am a Scotsman and big fan of our own boxers but Flynn is not as good as everyone thinks he is and Ritson would beat him. Good fight but Ritson would win.

 

what is it you have seen from lewis ritson that says that? i must admit to only seeing him twice but I've failed to see the hype he gets from billy. :good

I've watched charlie flynn grow from when he trained with newarthill to teaming up with peter harrison and imo he is pretty good at most things, my only worry could be his chin but imo lewis ritson wouldn't be the person to test that, his body yes but his chin not so much. i would like to see the fight either way and see where they are both at :good

 

Heard lots of good things about him from people who have sparred him. Sparring is sparring but they vouched for his strength and ability. would be a great fight I think.

 

I never insinuated anything, Charlie is a very good fighter and yes I suppose he is in a slightly stronger position than Lewis because he has Matchroom and Sky behind him, that my friend doesn't make him a better fighter than Lewis.
You may not have seen anything in Lewis but Ricky Hatton and Joe Gallagher to mention just two have and have given him great praise, who's opinion do you think im going to favour yours or there's:good
I agree with you there are some real good matches to be made in Scotland, I also look forward to telling big Mo you think he's garbage, you must train some real talented kids if you think he's garbage, WHO DO YOU TRAIN?

 

Jaime, Lewis has been a pro one year he's had 9 fights won 9, improved bundles and he would fight anyone.
Lewis has made a big move moving up to Scotland to be trained and he can only be commended for that alone, you has always are entitled to your opinion Jaime and as always because I don't value your opinion one little bit I will choice to ignore it:good aw the best wee chops:good

 

I do laugh at you Dundee morons, it's as plain has the nose on your face Ronnie Clark is levels below Lewis Ritson. You always want other fighters fighting hard fights, yet when Clark has a hard fight he gets beat and you come out with we were robbed ect ect, you seem a very sore loser but living in Dundee says it all

 

most pro coaches don't train new pros they inherit them from amateur gyms,basically what your implying is coz I never trained ricky burns as an amateur or early in his career I shouldn't get any credit for helping him become a two weight world champ aren't you lol you really are pathetic Jaime lol, go and watch his fight with alex arthur or carl johansen then watch Martinez or Moses and tell me there was no difference in him
Jaime I was lucky to have been asked by Peter to become his assistant, I learned so much from him, but I know Peter better than anyone and if he thought I wasn't doing a good job I wouldn't have been there, to imply I am lucky is funny but may my luck continue
