Yes, I hope he stays retired.

I couldn’t stand Floyd when he was fighting his way to the top but I appreciated his talents. After he beat De La Hoya, he started to grow on me and toward the end of his career I considered myself a fan.

The build up to his fights were entertaining and whilst his in ring was not to everyone’s taste I’m not sure I want to see him UD the likes of Berto any more, and I really don’t think he fights Golovkin.

Lol at you boxing "fans" being so damn bitter. Like it or not, he's the best boxer in the world. If you don't want to see the best perform then what in the hell do you watch the sport for?

He is NOT the best boxer in the world nowhere near. I'll agree he's an extremely talented boxer. Talented enough to be considered great BUT talent alone does not make an ATG. He seemed to lack the heart & courage needed to be great, He lacked the cojones in my opinion
Just think for a minute.. How good would he have been without the backing of the NSAC, USADA & Vegas boxing officials??? In my opinion not one opponent of his in the last 9-10 years got a REALLY level playing field He always made ludicrous demands like gloves & choice of officials Anything to give him an advantage Then you get to the illegal excessive Saline IV controversy ?? This has never been explained , or even investigated which certainly reeks of possible corruption
In a nutshell Floyd had the Talents to be one of the greats but never really made full use of them so in my opinion, for what its worth Floyd is NOT the best in the world & basically its his own fault he's not

Yeah, he should stay retired, if there was a fight for him to come out of retirement for, Golovkin would be the one for me, purely to see how far he can go but it's probably a step too far. Other than that, I think he beats all the WWs still and victories/losses over them wouldn't matter at this point anyway given his age and the quality of the fighters.

i'd love to see floyd fight again but would it be best for his health if he were to choose undeserving fighters like GGG? probably not.
    he had a great career

He is quite easily the best in the world whether you want to say it or not

Funny how you cling to claims he cheated, which you have absolutely no proof of other than what you come up with with your own self serving logic, yet you back margarito to the very end who was actually accused and suspended for cheating. The guy is the best, there is no argument. Even if you don't like him that's even more of a reason to watch him because seeing him finally beaten would be a thrill
