Golovkin holds brutal, dominant KO victories over the likes of Rosado, Ishida, Macklin, Stevens, Adama, Geale, Rubio, Murray, and Lemieux - all of whom have a GOOD TO VERY GOOD CHANCE of beating Canelo.

Brook has beaten Shawn Porter and... Donut Dan... and um, Matthew... Hatton? :?

Spence has done even less in beating :?, :?, and Richard Grieco, nay, Phil LeGreco? :?:?:??

YET both guys have been hailed as the Future of Boxing.

    :?

    Spence jr is 26
    Brook is 29
    Golovkin is 34

Brook has a better win than Golovkin who has been world champion for years
You should think before you make these threads

By the time these 2 guys are 33 their resume would eclipse GGG's

    GGG turns 34 this month

They obviously have a longer future in the sport

The point I am making is that credit and hype is being handed on a silver platter to UNPROVEN guys like Brook and Spence while this forum has shown tremendous disrespect towards Golovkin, a guy who has dominated WORLD CLASS OPPOSITION in scintillating fashion in recent years.

    :patsch

    Are you guys that dumb?

    :?

I've been meaning to do a thread just like this for awhile now but I wouldn't have used Brook as an example.

Yeah and that one win is one of the better wins at WW. And its not so much that he beat Dan, Gavin and Bizier but the manner in which he beat them that deserves more credit and praise they those wins get.

Spence has the most potential because of his age and current talent level. Golovkin is 34, not sure how long he'll continue boxing but he's got the talent to be great, IMO. If he doesn't get the opposition then he'll never be great, not his fault. Brook on the other hand, extremely talented IMO but he's gone far too long without doing anything of significance, aside from beating Porter.

So with that in mind, if Golovkin is the future of boxing, it's a relatively short future.

How do you gauge his talent when he's fought Uber drivers, delivery guys, and Walgreens cashiers?

    :huh

You're taking the opinion of a few select haters and portraying it as consensus. But I get your point.

GGG has 1 good win, Rubio.
If he never gets the Canelo fight hes just going to sit there fighting mandatories
    His career is going nowhere
Brook and Spence will get big fights in the next 2 years
