Dude, Haye was like 15lb heavier than Dempsey when he fought Klitschko.

Haye is an exception because 15lb and being less aggressive? Who even says being less aggressive makes you less susceptible to SHW boxers who have 50-100lb on you?

Why wasn't that the case with
    Dempsey Willard
    Louis Baer
    Louis Carnera
    Frazier Mathis
    Tyson Scaff

I agree Tyson is an anomaly. And so was Dempsey.

The term greatness is used by those smart enough to understand that you can't measure athletes through some objective scientific formula.

Produce an infallible forumla to measuring how good boxers are, and we can pretty much put an end to every fantasy matchup thread ever.

No? Alright then. We have to continue relying on our subjective ability to balance results and ability.

What this, and many other fields in life come down to, is taste. And someone who races to insult past ATGs, who talks a lot of **** about dead boxers while proving that they cannot see whats happening in the films, who can't count jabs in HD footage, has no taste.

Someone who just learned how to edit a video clip, and uses that skill to present an awfully skewed, and inaccurate point on Marciano, earnestly trying to tarnish the reputation of a truly great boxer, has 0 taste.

And a few inches taller than dempsey. If you think those pounds dont make a difference think again. Thats why we have smaller fighters bìtching about catchweights. Size does matter, Haye realized it was vital to bulk up to compete with elite lvl HWs.

Because in all of those examples the smaller man happens to be the better fighter.

Comparing baer, carnera and willard to Klitschko and Fury is a joke. They arent even comparable aside from the size.

    Liar? Show me.

    You can't count jabs.
    You can't ****yze footage.
You can't interpret text, or you have a problem with memory.
You do your best to disgrace the legacies of boxings best.
And you call people liars when they don't lie.

I'm as a fallible as the next guy, but man you take the art to a new extreme.

Klitschko perhaps, but I have seen no evidence that Fury is any better than they were.

You think so? I haven't thought much of this comparison, but it is interesting.

Why do you think Fury is better than Carnera? Better record?

I see a lot more In Fury's game he is multi dimensional, he passes the eye test with flying colors and has a better win (Klitschko) than Carnera managed to achieve his entire career. Time will tell but I think fury may well be the next dominant champ.
