We had this discussion in the thread. The first hook, as cartoonishly telegraphed as it was, was a much, much, much better punch than the second one.

 

Fury is better than klitschko so he must be better then they were. Comment makes little to no sense.

While Fury has beaten Klitschko, I doubt that many people would regard him as being better in a historical context, or even better in a head to head sense.

 

He just won UD h2h. That makes him better h2h.
Wlad obviously better accomplishment wise for now.

Wlad might have been shot.

It might be that Fury would always beat him, but Wlad would still do better vs. common opposition.

Beating somebody doesn’t automatically make you better.

 

Shot fighters don't destroy no.1 contenders.
Shot fighters are not massive favourites to win in brutal fashion.
Most importantly, he did not look shot in any way.
The Victor In this particular case is clearly the better boxer. Better h2h'er

 

Wlad's past his prime. At 40, who isn't ?
But he's not shot. Or at least there's no reason to think he's shot. He didn't look shot. Looked the same as he always looked. But I do think he's slowed down a bit over the last 3 years.

Then again, perhaps he looked very good considering he was deprived of his "special ring canvas" he's been using out there all these years.

 

Lets wait till we see Wlad in his next fight shall we?

 

Looking forward to the rematch. I'm really really hoping that Wlad comes out guns blazing as we know he can . If he delivers another snoozefest loss then he must FO already.
