Hilton. I don't see Ike doing to well at 154 against the big physcial types. All he had was that jab anyway and left his right hand in the dressing room. I sure don't see Quartey absorbing the body punishment this guy dished out.
Robert Hines kept Matthew busy with his jab, and his high guard helped him survive a few very severe moments when Matthew threw the Kitchen sink at Hines, but Hines kept his Taps coming, rode out the storms, and gradually got on top as Matthew faded dramatically, The Fallout from his own wild Bombs Well Ike has a high guard Like Hines, he has a superb heavy left jab, better than Hines, Ike with a few extra pounds is very probably stronger than Hines, certainly Ike is a more powerful puncher than Hines... I cant help thinking that Ike pegs Matthew on the end of his heavier Jab, and a few heavy counters may kerb Matthew from trying to run over Ike like he almost did the softer punching Hines, The fight might take a similar pattern to the Hines fight, but with mattew being more contained due to Ikes added power, If Ike takes it easy, the left jab scenic route, he can open up circa 7th - 8th and stop a demorilised matthew, - When a Bull cant Bully he he often becomes Cowed.
Ike by decision or late stoppage Hilton was very good for a short period of time, but not qute as good as Ike. Hilton's left hook would be dangerous. I can see him scoring a flash knockdown at some point.
Reminds me of the "Ruddock was only ever a one-trick pony with the Smash!" (like, okay fine, he fell in love with it as his career progressed - but early on? Nah...) - or "Tyson was nothing without the uppercuts!" :blood
