Frampton v Quigg on paper was a massive fight and yes they got paid well for it, but I honestly believe neither man will get paid anywhere near like that again for any other fight.

A poor British title fight at Heavyweight between AJ and Whyte sold more PPV buys than a fight between the second and third best super-bantamweight's in the world.

I also believe if Quigg and Frampton had been super middleweight's people would of been calling for a rematch but because they are smaller guys no one seem's to be interested in seeing it again.

Sauderland promotions for example seem to have an interest in taking on British fighters and either a) building or b) re-building there careers however they never look to sign anyone below 9 stone 9lbs.

Is this due to smaller fighters being unmarketable?

I heard Charlie Edwards claiming that one day him and Andrew Selby will box on sky box office in a big main event, I am sorry but I can never ever seeing a flyweight fight being on Sky Box office in a big main event at somewhere like the 02 or MEN.

It took Frampton and Quigg five years to build that fight to the level of interest it gained and I think Matchroom were dissapointed with the viewing figures for the show (I could be wrong).

    Thoughts?

People arent calling for a rematch becuase it was a bad fight and a very obvious winner so there's zero demand for a rematch, not because of their size. Naz for one was a lower weight fighter and he got huge ratings and made millions upon millions here and stateside

Btw what were the PPVs meant to be, can't imagine it being great as if it was we'd know by now

I don't like Edwards or his ratty brother but I think he will be a world champion, he looks like a 12 round fighter already.

There are some big lower weight fights that can happen.

    Selby Vs Frampton
    Selby Vs Warrington

I believe those two sell out most arenas in Ireland and the U.K. respectively.

Ironically something with infinite energy and bigger weight will always move faster..

    But it's the energy factor..
