The size of boxing is so small compared to Soccer (World Football), but boxing has the advantage of having a deep connection to the UK/USA, which allows it to be profitable (more than any other sport on an individual level) & the rare Apex success is contrasted by the poverty & the literal agony of the Non-Elite boxers who just feed into the system People who DKSAB will still pay to watch a good fight, boxing delivers some of those. So that is why boxing makes the big $ for the few stars more than any sport, if boxing is to be labeled as a sport
Facebook & Twitter are both owned by Americans, they cater to a Global crowd. They possibly feel pressure from their global customers to make those type of rules/flagging that allows to take down tweets/material. Russians & Chinese had a similar problem with certain social networks early on (which they viewed as too intrusive), so the government openly sponsored locals to develop special networks that can compete with the help of the Govt. In the US/UK the Govt don't feel a need to do that & most powerful US/UK citizens are probably okay with the status quo, so no private funds are invested to compete...because they feel Twitter is doing okay Everything starts idealistic & ends up sold at one point. With a world were $ is the #1 goal, the "intelligent" thing to do is sell at the highest price, so that is whats going on Everything is for sale
Mayweather sold his soul to Satan for those followers. He is just a puppet, they use him to brainwash young people into worshiping debt-backed paper. Most of his tweets are him with piles of money and a bunch of hookers.
There was a well known boxer who literally gave himself to Satan, but it didn't increase his twitter followers :huh Floyd worked hard to get to the top, Floyd deceptive behavior of posting those strippers & hedonia, gives the wrong idea to up & comers who will never be able to be like him, if they follow that lifestyle. Floyd Mayweather didn't have a life outside of boxing he was genetically & culturally bred into boxing. In October 1998 Floyd beat 130 lbs HOF Champion Genaro Hernandez 2 months later he was defending his title vs a real worshipper of Satan named Angel Manfredy, Floyd angered Satan by KOing his top boxer inside 2 rounds. This is evidence of Floyd opposition to Satan, we expect solid evidence on your side in order to support your Satan transaction theory :think
Some guys have been on Twitter longer than others and that can make a big difference. Is this what us boxing fans have to talk about from now on?atsch
Time has little to do with followers, lots of recent accounts have over a Million followers, because they reached mainstream celeb status, while many 2006-2008 accounts have few followers. When a boxer breaks out into the mainstream, they get a high spike in followers. Floyd followers spiked by 100,000 instantly each time Justin Bieber made an appearance with him, that translates into big exposure for boxing + PPV numbers Mega Super fights also attract the main stream, Floyd-Pacman build up was a major event in boxing history. Another similar build up must take place, without the need for weight jumping :think
6.8 mil people follow a guy that can't read. No wonder US is such an educated, well cultured country.
Imagine if Mike Tyson was still active ? He would eclipse them all ! Or imagine if twitter was released when Mohammed Ali was active he would probably have 1 billion twitter followers!
Muhammad Ali & Tyson in their prime would have been around 50 Million in modern Twitter (Twitter max is around 75 Million, but really 50 Million after you remove plain eggs)
