It's a terrible list. Too many problems to even begin, but two of them: Golovkin at 24 and Andre Ward over Erik Morales.

Calzaghe at 14, too. Above James Toney, no less. Laughable.

Calzaghe could be even higher. One of the best.

 

No. He squeaked past a 43-year-old Bernard Hopkins, defeated Chris Eubank at the tail end of his career, beat a solid, but far from great Mikkel Kessler, and has some decent wins over guys like Robin Reid, Jeff Lacy, Byron Mitchell, Charles Brewer, Mario Veit, and Sakio Bika. And if you want to throw in a "name" win over a completely shot Roy Jones, I suppose you could, although it doesn't add much value.

Great consistency, excellent longevity, and obvious talent/skill, but doesn't have the resume/the scalps on his dossier to warrant a really high ranking.

As you said "arguably".

Plus, there is little arguing that pac deserves to be ahead of Marquez, yet, one can argue Marquez beat him multiple times.

 

How RJJ isn't at the top spot is beyond me and who in the right mind would rate Hopkjns over him ? atsch

Mayweather and Pacquiao is a clear cut above the rest.

Good list; but Mosley is too high, and Whitaker is too low. Donaire, Rigondeaux, and Martinez deserve to be on it. I'd drop Cotto, Mosley, and Winky for the three of them. Kovalev also might deserve either Norris or Hamed's spot too.

 

Calzaghe himself was at the end of his career. Even past his prime he managed to beat the 2nd best SMW that time, Mikkel Kessler and a old but still A-level boxer Bernard Hopkins. 46-0 with no robberies.

Both Berrera and Felix were allready on the list. That's why.
