Eddie Chambers stepping up, FINALLY! ...versus Gerald Washington, April 30th

CST and I are going by the popular forum opinion when calling them "upsets". If you ask people on here, Povetkin and Klitschko are both about to get KTFO. :-(

 

I didn't say it was a robbery per se, just that drawing with Mansour doesn't augur greatness - or even being able to defeat Chambers (who I think - if he is what he used to be, anyway - is better than Mansour)

I've somehow managed to never stop liking Eddie even though he looks a bit like Kanye (whom I've grown to despite more and more over the years) :think

 

No shame in that. Chambers should be credited for lasting as long as he did with that much of a size disadvantage. He and Thompson probably logged the best performances against Wladimir in his prime (which ran IMO from 2006, after he finished "gelling" with Steward, until 2012)

 

Gavern who just (only a year after Washington took him the distance) got stopped by a novice that his own countrymen say would've been 50-50 with the originally scheduled opponent, Richard Towers. :!:
