like the chicken in the first Rocky movie. Cotto broke the WBC rules, refused to fight Golovkin although Golovkin was his mandatory, paid step aside money, now Oscar wants to change the 160 lb. division to 155, Jr. Middleweight to 154, after all that boxing history. I refused to ever watch El Pollo fake fight again...................Cotto lied, El Pollo Lied and the WBC did not keep their word...................something must be done of boxing will go down the drain.......................

It's not Canelo, it's his promoter.

Funny how Haymon and Arum and even Duva get **** for the choices they make but, Oscar is never chastised for his flagrant B.S.

Latineg, thanks for the welcome......................yeah.........I somehow feel that Alvarez would fight Golovkin out of pride, but Oscar will not allow such...............I was a fan of Oscar's, at one time, he was the only American to win gold back in 1992, then Oscar became a promoter, I thought, at last someone who wants to clean up boxing, give up competitive boxing, but now I am very disappointed. Oscar, Arum and the rest truly appear to believe that boxing fans are all re****ed. Just look back and see how many bad decisions there have been over the years......................Fans look forward to a good fight only to be let down time and time again, still a few good fights, but way too many mismatchs, would rather watch sparring.............

No, but I love Mexican fighters, esp. when Chavez drew 130 thousand fans in the bull ring, incredible................generally speaking, Mexican fighters come to fight, create a lot of excitement, but Golovkin, Kovalev and some new Eastern Euro fighters are exciting. There are exciting fighters from all over the world. Foreman/Lyle.........WOW..........Hearns/Hagler................Duran/De Jesus, ad infinitum............................I agree with Golovkin, I love Mexican style, do not blink your eye.................

Ok because some poster named CuJo thinks it's the Mexican people who call him El Pollo, but I think he's full of ****.

^ True that. Mexican fighters usually come to the ring full of fire and brimstone. Love it. I remember guys like Merqi Sosa and Chavez etc etc. Alvarez is a disappointment.
