Brook v Garcia??

    " Danny Garica is rumoured to have put a five million dollar price tag on any possible fight with Kell Brook in Sheffield.


    IBF champion Brook is desperate to unify the welterweight division and has told his promoter Eddie Hearn that the American rival’s WBC belt is his top pick.
    Speculation over the pond is that Garcia would travel to England, most likely for a July outdoor show at Bramall Lane, if he is guaranteed a five million dollar purse (more than three and a half million pounds.)
    Brook is a proud athlete and showed over the failed negotiations with Amir Khan that he would not be short-changed.
    So if the rumours are true Hearn will be doing his sums to see if a Pay Per View show would be a financial success as well as a global spectacle.
    Certainly, Garcia v Brook would be a mouth-watering clash. The 28-year-old from Philadelphia has an unblemished 32-fight winning career, taking the scalps of Robert Guerrero, Lamont Peterson and Erik Morales along the way...as well as stopping Khan, four years ago in Las Vegas.
    More than half of his victims have failed to last the distance against him.
    Garcia has boxed in Puerto Rico and Mexico, so has been prepared to go to other countries when it suits him.
    A few days ago Adrien Broner suggested he would fight Garcia, despite the fact the pair are friends.
    Interestingly, Brook also asked twitter followers this week “Who would love to see me fight @AdrienBroner RT to make it happen this summer!”

    Herrera beat Garcia to the jab, we all know how that fight ended. Bearing in mind this fight was at light welter, now imagine what Brook's jab would do to Garcia at Welter.

    Look at names on Dannys last fights and compare that to brooks who has fought 35 little nobodies and the nuthuggers are picking him as favourite.

    The same guy that went life and death with Carson Jones is suppose to beat a guy who mauled through guys like khan, Matthysse, Judah, Guerrero.

    Kell brook don't want any of garcia, unless he wants his 0 taken from him/

    We a really good fight but Brook would win relatively comfortable as he is a class act.

    50/50 in my opinion.

    No way in hell Eddie pays decent money to Garcia to come to Sheffield.

    Judah clearly shot. He didn't maul through Matthysee, not sure what fight you were watching? Khan yeh he did after throwing the same punch about 500 times and eventually it landed. Guerrero an elite gatekeeper tops.

    Better than any of the names on Brooks record. Who has Kell brook fought that shoved that he can beat an elite fighter who is the same size as him?

    And yes he mauled through Matthysee, look at the state of his face. Knocked him down and Lucas has never been the same again.

    Everyone was saying Lucas was gonna end Danny, and look what happened.

    The same with khan, khan was meant to breeze through Garcia. And now they're all saying Kell Roid Brook is gonna beat him easy.

    This is a joke Garcia is not coming to Sheffield and Hearn couldn't generate that from the show even if he wanted too pay him that money. With this Haymon/PBC thing It's not like the days when showtime or HBO would buy into it to help finance a big US based fighter coming over here.

    Brook will end up fighting Vargas, Andre Berto or Guerreo - it won't be anything higher level then that

    I'd pay to see that reboot of the franchise.

    Hearn has real issues with money aside from Joshua- he simply can't get anyone to fight over here. Hence all the domestic fights.

    He does love a domestic fight but he has also proved that if he promotes the hell out of them the domestic fights do sell especially to the casual market
