I'll be honest i'm not really clued up regarding Charles Martin and had never heard much of him before this Joshua fight. Can people with more knowledge of the heavyweight division give me their honest opinions about this guy and how good he is..
He's rubbish. This is a cash out fight and he will be knocked out within 6. Those who think otherwise hate Joshua and their hatred is clouding their judgment.
Remains to be seen in some respects but he does nothing extraordinary in my opinion. Solid enough though without being spectacular in any area.
:deal Haymon cashout, nothing more. He gets 15%+ from Martin's purse as his advisor. That's why Haymon told Martin to 'call out' Joshua.
He's a club fighter who has been in the right place at the right time and hit the jackpot. In terms of quality of opponent this is a step down from Dillian Whyte. Bascially he's rubbish.
I'm not AJ's biggest fan and I'm certain he'll come unstuck soon but Charles Martin won't be the guy to do it. He got a gift from glazkov and that's pretty much the end of it
I think he's gonna go in two rounds personally! Looks pretty sluggish to me and don't get any hype about his power either.
I see it the other way round Joshua fans have their judgement clouded Joshua looked terrible against Whyte Martin hasnt fought anyone good its a 50/50 matchup
Gift from Glazkov? Glazkov barely landed a punch on Martin Martin started to land big lefts on Glazkov How is it a gift? Trolls these days smh
I thought he looked decent vs Glaszkov and was winning every minute (including on the scorecards until it was stopped). Glazkov is proven a class above anyone Joshua has faced as a pro (and was an excellent amateur too) so I think some people may be underestimating him. He also destoyed Tom Dallas in half the time that David Price took and looked like he hits hard enough ... He has a good engine and throws LOTS of punches. I think if Joshua can't HULK SMASH him by 4 rounds he's most likely going to get knocked out or schooled. But we'll see soon enough!
Martin to upset the apple-cart here. I think rumours of AJ's greatness will prove to be exaggerated once he takes a solid straight left hand to the mandible.
