    I have to say this one is an intriguing matchup. Floyd was not exactly a giant killer. I see Willard catching him with an uppercut and stopping him before 15 rounds are over.

    I would have to go with Willard.

    Patterson does not have the power to take him out, or the durability to survive him.

    He will have some good moments, but Willard is going to keep jabbing him, and hitting him with right hands when he tries to come in.

    Ultimately the difference in physical equipment will be too great.

    yes, and we saw willard beating a complete generation of fast skilled modern fighters.
    by the way, patterson OF COURSE THAT HAD THE POWER TO TAKE OUT WILLARD.
