Saturday 9th July - Fury vs Klitschko

The first fight was **** because klitchsko thought he could do to fury what he did to all his other opponents. Fury didn't have to do anything different.

This fight will be much better. Klit knows he probably needs a knockout and if he comes out all guns blazing we will see the best of fury in my opinion. No way will it be a jab and hug fest like the first one

We all know Klit isn't coming out all guns blazing. He cant just change and become something else. After 3 rounds of the first fight it was plain to see Vlad needed to do something different and what was the response? He did nothing.

After 7/8 rounds when the fight was lost again what did Vlad do to try and change the course of the fight and win? Nothing.

Vlad will fight the same way he always does and it will be another borefest.

 

Exactly. For all the pre-fight rubbish from Fury it was obvious he was going to box on the back foot as he always does and he was never going to try and stop Wlad as he doesn't possess much in the way of power.

The fight followed the same pattern for 12 rounds and will likely follow it again. If Wlad lets his hands go a little bit more, he might steal a PTS decision but I can't see it.

 

Glad it's on Boxnation so don't have to pay anything extra for it. Hope Klitschko forces the pace this time so we can actually see a fight

It's an intriguing one because the first fight was so poor, Wlad isn't the champion and he's fighting in the UK. It should be better than the first fight but that's not saying much really. A lot depends on Wlad's desire to actually fight this time.

Daws' European Title fight on the undercard I'd imagine.

 

Considering the first one did 400k buys which is a good number I would only assume that the poor first fight makes the decision makers sceptical that a rematch will generate those kind of numbers again.

Why would you leave money on the table otherwise?

 

I don't blame Sky for not being interested. You'd have to be a complete mug to buy that fight again.

Be interesting to see what their purses are this time around without PPV.

Well at least Mick now has TV I guess and there will be a PPV option just for this fight I presume.
