    So he had a family who were well off enough and well adjusted enough to move from St Louis to Colorado Springs and then Phoenix but he had to tough it out fighting for his life and to get by in St Louis?

    I was born up in a poor neighborhood, but my parents worked hard to get out us of that neighborhood. Don't mean they were well off to begin with.

    from the uk or usa comes from poverty and lives in a ghetto by world terms.

    you have housing /medicine/schooling/heating /freedom to travel /

    if you come from a crime ridden neighbourhood / then leave it and make it away from there but if you blame the area you grew up in for your own life choices then you deserve what you make of your life.

    martin from what little i know of him has got on his bike and made a name for himself.

    Don't tell me about these tough American hoods again :patsch

    Some guys who couldn't finish high school shoot each other from cars because they think they have to prove something. Meanwhile they can not even use their fists.

    Even the nicest town in Europe has tougher guys than the worst hood in the US. Except countries like Sweden.
