The Teddy Atlas Factor (Pac-Bradley III Video)

Great video as usual Rummy That how I see Teddy he is more of a motivator than a trainer. If he can get Tim believing he will win it could make for an interesting fight. As always I hope its a fair fight with no controversy & the legitimate best man getting the win

Atlas seems to be good for Bradley, but I don't think Bradley ever beats Pacquiao. Bradley looked really good against Rios, but that's Rios and it was an out of shape, already planned to retire Rios that night.

 

Agreed, but how easy was it for Bradley to stick to his game plan? The only time I've seen him kind of fall from focus is when he was being put in the heat. (Provodnikov, Previous Pacquiao fights). So, it may be easy to stick to a game-plan when the dude is standing in front of you and hardly making a match competitive.

But what happens when Bradley is once again being overwhelmed with speed, punches, movement, fear of losing on cards, etc. Rios wasn't making it difficult for Bradley. Rios wasn't exploited his mistakes or causing him to make adjustments. Will he still stick to the game plan when he's in the ring with Pacquiao? And THAT'S what we have yet to see because - for me - Rios didn't gauge that for me.

And at the moment, I tend to agree with Roach's view on it. Everyone has a game plan until they get hit, and there's more evidence at the moment for me to support that Timmy will go back to being the fighter we know when he's put in the heat than vice versa. It's definitely possible Teddy can cause him to stay focused, but I haven't been convinced.

Agreed Pacquiao isnt prime and the layoff may have caused some more slip, but we don't know yet. Regarding his motivation, I look at it both ways: The election is approaching, injury, and layoff will play a role in what his motivation may be. But then again, it's his last fight (supposedly), elections are nearing and a win would definitely secure him a seat, and he's coming off a loss and wants to redeem himself. That also plays a factor. So, I don't know how motivated he is or where he is at physically.

That's why I've grown to like this fight, lol. It will give me the answers. Anything else is just assumptions.

Gotta give the dude credit...Bradley ain't no Crawford, but coming off a shoulder injury and long layoff to face (arguably) the #2 WW for the third time. Not a walk in the park and I respect that. Which leads to another question, if Pacquiao wins, what does that say about where he's at? If he beats Bradley convincingly, then he's hardly a shell of himself and can continue fighting, yes? Or should he still retire?

 

That's why I really like it. This fight will answer a lot of questions that fans have about both fighters. Good video by the way :good

The world has taken this entire "Teddy Atlas" thing over the top! Yes Tim looked good against Brandon, but it wasn't nothing nobody hasn't seen before. Because of that fight he all of a sudden beats Manny?? Tim is the one, that has come up with 3 different game plans in order to try and beat Manny.I'm just trying to see were all this hype is coming from.....There isn't a style Manny hasn't seen already before.....Rather he lost or won....Like who is Teddy if he was the magic man as y'all make him out to be..why hasn't he been consistent with training fighters...or been the go to trainer like Steward or Roach

 

Manny has never been swarmed into submission. Maybe Tim throws caution to the wind and goes crazy on Manny tonite.
