We've got two champions, wow. :think

One of them has punched HIMSELF IN THE FACE in a contest, and he won the belt off of the most gun shy HW of all time.

The other went life and death with an amateur rival and just won the belt from a nobody.

Fair play to AJ on winning a strap so quickly, but it just shows how dreadful that division is.

So that's another fighter on PPV. At least we've still got the "Swifty's" of this world to watch for free. :nut:nut

No, we've got one champion. The undisputed heavyweight champion of the world who won the title from the unified, linear, undisputed champ.

TV platforms may tell their braindead subscriber base they have a heavyweight champion because its good for subs. But please don't let that get in the way of the reality here.

Tyson Fury is the Heavyweight Champion of the World.

Joshua is a decent powerful banger with an ATG, HOF, linear, unifed, undisputed TV hype machine behind him.

Entertainment wise it's the best it's been since the mid 90's

    Fury
    Joshua
    Wilder
    Povetkin
    Haye
    Ortiz
    Takam
    Parker

Or perhaps those complaining would like to go back to the days of the Boreko Brothers dominating the division ??

    Good Lord.

You're just reeling names off. Apart from Wilder/Povetkin, they're not fighting one another.

I think it's more open than it has been since Lewis retired and the Klitschko's took over. I don't see one man dominating the division in the short term because every top guy has question marks over them.

David Haye confirming his fighting Briggs really is an embarrassment.

At least he's keeping busy and it'll likely be on terrestrial TV. I think he's wanting the Joshua cash out in early 2017.
