We saw Martin crumble and eat the canvas twice under the same sort of punches that Dillian Whyte took many many times. Does Charles Martin have a fragile china chin? Will we see him KO'd again soon? Thoughts?
It is hard to tell, there is a difference between being hit on a "cold chin" and between a glass jaw. Basically the first clear shots of the fights came from Joshua strong right and those sent Martin down.
Hard to tell, he seemed ok. The momentum made the knock down look worse than it was. Never was given a fair chance to prove his mantle by the ref. A very dodgy fight all round imho.
No, his chin seems good, it's the amateurish lunging and what looks like horrific footwork that helped do him in.
He got hit square on the jaw with his jaw high up in the air, not even moving it a single millimeter before he got hit. His chin might be fine, but his skillset is not.
Knocked down twice with an arm punch. More like a right hand jab than anything else. Almost no torque in the shot. You make your own conclusions. :rofl
He actually wasn't KO'd... he made a poor judgement call and it cost him the rest of the fight - or saved him a nasty concussion, depending on how you want to look at it. It was going to happen.
Despite what some stone killers in here might think just because you get knocked out by a hard hitting heavyweight doesn't mean he has a glass jaw. I know, I know they are both lucky neither one of them was in with one of you assassins.
He just went up a level and he could not handle that level. I would not say he is glass. I would just say that AJ is too fast and strong for him.
