Wow he was impressive, Mohammedi looked like he went into spasms, completely over as soon as Gvozdyk hit him.

Not a fan yet, but he's winning me over.

The dude has some real power and real abilities.

Gvozdyk beat Mohammedi much worse than Kovalev did.

The man looked like he was so dazed he didn't know where the f he was, he could not even stand up. Crazy.

Still, his nicknames needs to be changed. :happy

And I don't think we will agree to that so we will agree to disagree.

    Impressive as hell though.

I still think Usyk is better, but this dude is great, great power. :scaredas:

That was a great display of power.
Kovalev has 2 great talents on his heels with Gvozdyk & Beterbiev.

That nickname is spot on though, he drives that straight right through his opponents heads just like a nail.:hey

Just sounds weird to me, but I might warm up to it like I'm to him.

Quite impressed, I like fighters who box well and he seems to fit that category.

I do not warm up to guys who just hit hard. I like guys who are smart in there, fluid. This dude controls range well from what I've seen, same with Usyk.

That's why Usyk is a top 5 favourite of mine (Possibly top 2-3 actually, he's gotta step up though), this guy might be top 10-15 soon.

Yep, Gvodzyk has some great responsibility.

Mohammedi went down like he got shot. The LHW division is the hottest in boxing right now, while it was pretty weak a couple of years back

Agree, in spite of my Neanderthal image on here, I don't really like mindless KO Machines all that much either, which is why I never fully got on board with Kudryashov, and I think Gassiev is equally limited, but guys with power and ample skill is a rare commodity, that's why I've been beating the drum for the two Oleksandr harder that anybody else.:hey

Bivol has been every bit as impressive as Gvozdyk so far and Shabranskyy has the best win by beating Yuniesky Gonzalez convincingly and hurting him a couple times in the process. Just hope Arum keeps moving him up steady and fast without useless stay busys. I'd like to see him fight Oosthuzien or E-Rod followed by Cleverly or Berrera in his next couple fights.

    Beterbiev
    Shabranskyy
    Gvozdyk
    Bivol
    Browne
    Mekhontsev

Mohammedi is worse than Prince Charles Martin. He looked like a tomato can against Kovalev, can't fight a lick.

Yeah that's why I never warmed up to guys like Randall Bailey lol, even though that KO on Mike Jones was epic. :smoke

Guys who can box will always be #1 to me.

And Usyk and this guy do it well, so they get brownie points from me.

Usyk could potentially be my favourite (Possibly) with Ward if he steps up fast and shows us something epic.

Fighting guys like Stephen Simmons ain't doing jack for him.

I'd like to see him fight Makabu soon.

He beats Makabu from what I've seen, beats Huck/Briedis too. Glowacki maybe not because of his limited experience, but soon he will devour everyone from this division.

    :yep

I agree there are more, maybe even Umar Salamov or the Turkish guy (Yilidirim)
I have not been impressed by Mekhontsev is a pro though. He was one of the best amateurs, but seems to have the most trouble adjusting to the pro style.

I actually typed Salamov and Boesel but erased them lol Havent seen Yildirim yet but was mentioned by another poster too.

Ya Bivol and Mekhontsev have 3 common opponents Egor went the distance (8 rounds) with all of them while Bivol has finished all inside 4 rounds. Dima is supposed to fight the WBA interim champion Valera next but i dont see it confirmed.

He beats Makabu, I like Ilunga and I think he's capable of beating most CW's including Drozd, but he has nothing for Usyk, Glowacki he beats as well.
