Have you guys heard about the Roberto Duran movie coming out? They just released a trailer on HBO. The first line is in the trailer is "I've trained more world champions that anyone else in boxing history." And it's Ray Arcel played by Robert Dinero! It looks like he might even be the main character, or at least a very important supporting role. How freakin awesome is that?!? I think it comes out in August. I'll update this when I find the trailer online.
I'm sure someone like Floyd will complain and wonder why he didn't get his own movie yet or before any of those fighters.
I've known about this for about 2 years now. Can't wait for it to come out. Originally Arcel was going to be played by Al Pacino but something came up and De Niro ended up getting the role. Back in the day, Duran use to hang out with De Niro and they became pretty good friends. According to Duran's bio, they met one day in central park as someone introduced him to De Niro who was with a short little guy, who turned out to be Joe Pesci.

I don't think so, i think they are just omitting the first fight in the trailer, if you look for some pictures of the movie on internet you will find some pictures of Ramirez and Usher fighting in white trunks like the battle of montreal
