What this man did and who he fought and beat may never be seen again in boxing again. I'll bold the fighters he beat who were prime when he beat then. Italicize the guys he beat when they were declined and leave the guys who were completely shot in regular font.

    Sasakal
    Lewaba
    Julio
    Barrera
    Marquez
    Morales
    Diaz
    De La Hoya
    Hatton
    Cotto
    Clottey
    Margarito
    Mosley
    Bradley

Unreal and possibly impossible to replicate in modern boxing.

crazy that resume would be amazing for a legit welterweight but when you take into account Pac was a former flyweight it makes it even more amazing

I can honestly say i never seen a resume this great

for me before Pac even went to 140 his resume looked great and was a sure HOF/ATG

    When you consider

    Sasakul: FLW champ
    MAB: next best FW
    JMM: next best SFW
    Hatton: LWW champ
    Bradley: next best WW

Legitimate champion in 5 divisions. Incredible achievement.

It has to be the deepest since at least Duran. At the very least. You may have to even go as far back into the 50s to find a resume as deep as his. With honesty.

Thats the key word deep its very deep all those 65 fights he fought was tough fights

His 8 div conquest alone is milestone

You forget SBW though. Ledwaba was a legitimate 122 pounder who looked unbeatable there once the division was vacated by Morales and MAB.

Whilst I think he was the best at SBW, he was never a legitimate SBW champion.

Thought he looked great from the 6th round on. Bradley had much better conditioning and endurance than he did in the rematch and is easily the best at the weight.

    Manny= Authentic ATG

Mayweather was probably a better fighter than him, but the fighter I'll always remember through that era is Pacquiao. Boxing would be better off with more guys like him

Sad day to see him retire. Absolute warrior, down as one of the greatest fighters to ever live.

His reflexes were insane and the way he buzzed around opponents smashing them to pieces from all angles was amazing.

    True ATG.
