I was under the impression the other David guy was also a trainer. Tbh I don't know much because whenever I see these two post in a thread I usually scroll past because it descends into a debate about some low level Scottish boxers.

Well I think Brophy wasn't at his best last nite but put on a brave performance, he clipped Groves in the second and that proved he can hurt fighters at his weight, he may have been too wary about Groves power which ultimately won the contest but I think he can take a lot of positives from the experience. Remember groves is a world class operator and proved that last night. As for David he's young, talented and dedicated to the fight game and with Billy he's in good hands, the comment regarding the fight getting sanctioned and the trainer should have refused it is the biggest load of BS I have ever heard.
