The problem with saying a guy like AJ is untested, is you have to throw him in with a Fury, with a klitschko, with Wilder or with a David Haye. you could use exactly the same argument while he walks through the rest of the heavyweights and even after.

It was like when people said Wilder couldn't go 12 rounds.

That said I think you can be excited, as the rate he knocks out most guys out he'll fight 3-4 times a year which you can't say about too many other top pro's, until he takes on the champs or Haye.

OH YEA.... seems to be up for the task, has a true champion mentality (no ducking). Win or lose gonna be a fun guy to follow.

Intresting bringing up Tyson who was 5'10

I'd imagine a 6'6 250lbs version of the man (that grew up in a neighborhood that I visited occasionally to see family but would recommend the taliban and the navy seals only visit if dressed in full riot gear) would be hell on wheels.

He is turning into a rather exciting fighter yes

impressive power but his skills are still yet to be proven against unknown good opponent

this is becoming a familiar pattern isn't it - the last four titlists, on winning their title, haven't really been tested at world level.

    Bad standards.

Hes exciting to watch and I will be tuning In to every one of his fights like I have been the past 6 matches.

Win or lose he wil be involved with some great heavyweight battles, I salivate when I imagine him fighting ortiz, wilder, haye, fury or parker, the options are endless.

Joshua likely will fight Malik Scott next though which is an easy KO for AJ

He looks the real deal. Very impressive. Can't wait to see him and Tyson Fury.

I see him beating all of those guys convincingly. He has some seriously heavy hands.

I actually rate parker higher as far as potential goes but we will see! Need to see him In with someone who can chin check him and follow up if they got him hurt.

I think fury outpoints him, ortiz might spark him and parker might well blast him out but he could just as easily win those fights with the kind of power and accuracy hes shipping. Think Joshua would KO Wilder

It's still too early to think he could be a dominant force like Tyson but the potential is there. He clearly, like Tyson is very imposing with a physique that stands out, power than seems on another level leaving a trail crushed opponents and he clearly already has a big fan base. If he can dominate we may once again see an exciting, dominant heavyweight champion who crosses over into the mainstream and that can only be good for boxing.

Yes. Only an elite, complete fighter can beat him. Basically only 3-4 in the whole division have a chance.

ALL the others don't go the distance

Joshua has better, size, power, and boxing skills than Parker. Parker may (or may not) have better chin and stamina, both of which are more correctable or hideable than the other three. So, I can't see much argument that Parker has more potential than Joshua. Doesn't mean Parker wouldn't beat Joshua, but Joshua definitely has more potential.

eh, I still think Parker has more potential. Think he's more accurate, has quicker hands and throws better combos. Also I don't think there's any evidence to suggest that Joshua has more power or skills. We will see, I think that is a super fight that is bound to happen since they both will be ranked in the top 10 soon (Parker will KO Takam)
